well, its official. I'm on a heater. LB strikes again.




so after getting worked on those first 2 sessions, I have reeled off 9 consecutive winnings sessions. The last 50NL session, the one with +$253.89 put me at 1900, at which point i decided enough was enough and moved up to 100NL. After the +192 there, I'm sitting at 2100. comfortable for 100NL.

My month (which started on the 11th, so my last 15 days.

didnt play alot today, had some stuff to do and was running around alot.

got a few hands in.




played better though, 21/16, so i've loosened up and am not playing so nitty.

ive lowered my went to showdown and have raised my AF, something I am working on as well. Basically working on aggression, being less passive, and playing fewer tables and concentrating harder on every decision.

Okay so, I played signifigantly better in the last 600~ hands or so than in the first 1100. I was playing too robot in the beginning, wasnt adjusting, etc...




so as u can see I was nitting it up at 17.5/9.1 for my first short session of 285 hands. My next one I went to 16.0/10.3, and finally the last session at 19.4/14.6




at least i run good... er wait. oops.




i think this means i suck postflop, and am far too passive in small pots.
im not 100%, but I think that's what it means.

p.p.s for ongame hand histories, a raise does not include any previous bets. so for example if i raise to $1.05 PF and get 3bet to $4.05 it will say that the 3better raises 3$. It's wierd but for strategy advice I don't want you to be confused on raise sizes.

Played the MSOP EVent #2, busto in like 1800th place.

Played some tournies on Tower, came 19th in 20$ 6max tourny, 235 entrants for 47$. wooo
Ran so poorly towards the end again, no cards whatsoever, with someone sweating me as well.

Friday off Work Results....

SO I got to stay home and play some cards today after recieving a call from work citing my services were not required today.

I played 4 tournies, cashing in one, and bubbling in two.

The first bubble occured when I shoved Q2suited from to me OTB with 11bb with 84 left, 70 paid, and was hellmuth snapcalled by a player with 31bb with K4o. He flopped a 4 and I was elimed. Obv, I shoved Q2 and lost, poor me. But I was flabbergasted that he called me with K4.

Anyways, the other bubble was when I raised in EP with AK, with 36k sitting in 21/77, with blinds at 500/1000. I am reraised by the button, and I shove overtop, we race his QQ to my AK and he turns a QQ to gg me.

I chilled with come people and at around 2am decide to play some 100NL, just for like an hour or so before I call it a night, results:




Much better session than the one put in on May 27th.
Played much more aggro, made better reads.

Tournaments Suck

Reminded once again why tournaments are the devil.
And should be ignored.

Played the 3r, ran well at the beginning, got to 90k and then never saw a quality hand again.

like i got AQ and some other marginals, but nothing in position.

Real Life Work

OMG I work in my father's companies office.
It's hell.
I am so friggin bored I want to stab myself with something just to feel alive.

I haven't even really entered the work world and already I can't stand it.

I was talking to an interwebz friend who is going to move to Costa Rica, that sounds so good to me. He was telling me about the freedom, and disconnection from the standard 9-5, MTV, CNN lifestyle we live here. It sounded like heaven.

Basically this is just a rant displaying my displeasure for the 9-5 life.
And i'm making 21$/hour, which is pretty good wage for a 22 year old imo.
I have friends working for half that, and I can't understand how they do it week in week out.
They must privately be crying in their rooms or something, and they msut want better for themselves.

Anyways, that's it for now.
Time to do some more data entry.

Background Info

After making some cashouts I currently have 1870$ in my account on Tower Gaming, an OnGame skin.
I will grind 100NL until I reach at least 4k, but most likely 5k, before i give 200NL a go.

I also plan on giving some tournaments a go at some point in June, so we'll see how that goes.
